We’re in a period of inflation, and international flight prices are likely to follow that trend, especially here in North America, where low-cost options aren’t as widespread as in Europe.

We’ll likely see prices stabilizing rather than dropping, but young travellers are becoming experts at balancing time, cost, and flexibility by choosing low season rather than high.

We expect moderate accessibility, driven by competition among low-cost carriers and increased use of secondary airports. However, sustainability-related taxes may slightly raise costs, making early booking and flexible travel dates essential.

Concerning Europe, flight prices are unpredictable. I’d say it’s a challenge, but not a barrier. Young travellers will still put travel at the top of their bucket list and find creative ways to move around, like taking night trains or combining different transport options.
