Academic Language Solutions, of New Hampshire (USA) and London (UK), recently unveiled a new look logo as a part of their broader corporate identity program. Kevin Morgan, Chairman of the company, points out that the new design reflects the broader direction in which ALS is heading. He said, “In the past, we’ve been associated mainly with the International Test of English Proficiency (iTEP). We’ve grown because of the high-quality exams that help program sponsors and their agents properly and objectively screen candidates for exchange programs. But we are more than just tests. Other products and services will propel us forward in 2024. Thus, the need for a new logo.”

Academic Language Solutions is a research and analysis business. They have completed a number of research projects based on overall test results that document the progress that exchange students and candidates consistently make. Conclusions from research projects can help sponsors and agents better manage their field networks, target marketing efforts for more effective recruiting, and demonstrate program benefits to new customers.

In 2023, the company began a cooperation with New Voice Learning of San Diego to promote and distribute FLOW Speak. This is an innovative app that, through AI and community feedback, helps English language learners achieve conversational fluency and build up speaking confidence. The app helps users master everyday expressions through more than 400 2-5 minute lessons.

Randy LeGrant, President of ALS, explains what is coming in the near future. “You’ll be seeing,” he said, “new products and services, including project-based learning courses with an individual focus, to help au pairs, tutors and teachers be more e^ective conversation mentors. Our new logo represents a group of language learners communicating with each other. We truly are in a unique position to present language solutions, as our name says, to the educational exchange community.”
