WYSE Travel Confederation is pleased to open applications for the 2024 WYSE Up grant, an initiative designed to support innovation and growth within the youth, student and educational travel industry.
The WYSE Up grant aims to empower organistions and entrepreneurs who are driving the future of youth travel, providing them with access to valuable resources and industry professionals to enable them to implement forward-looking projects in the youth travel space.
About the WYSE Up grant programme
The WYSE Up grant is offered to organisations new to the community to provide them with fast-tracked entrance to the heart of the global youth travel industry. Grants will be awarded to organisations that fall into one of the four priority challenges outlined by WYSE Travel Confederation: climate action, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), technology and innovation and underrepresented markets. Organisations will be evaluated within an established framework for their potential, uniqueness and innovative approach to supporting an inclusive, safe and respectful future for the youth travel industry.
“We are excited to launch the WYSE Up Grant as part of our ongoing commitment to innovation and excellence in the youth travel industry,” said David Chapman, Director General at WYSE Travel Confederation. “We believe that by supporting creative and forward-thinking projects, we can help shape the future of travel experiences for young people, whilst respecting the communities that host them and the environment around us.”
Successful applicants will receive a complimentary two-year WYSE Travel Confederation membership, a hosted invitation to the World Youth and Student Travel Conference (WYSTC) in September 2024, continuous mentorship, and access to WYSE Travel Confederation’s extensive network, educational resources, research and advocacy initiatives.
Applications close on 14 June 2024. Successful candidates will be announced at the WYSE Travel Confederation AGM during WYSTC in Lisbon, Portugal on 24 September 2024.
