Wendy Morrill, Research & Education Manager
Wendy Morrill is WYSE Travel Confederation’s Research & Education Manager. In this role she is responsible for coordinating research projects undertaken by WYSE Travel Confederation and developing educational content and opportunities for members. Wendy has managed WYSE Travel Confederation’s research and education portfolios since October 2014 and is a familiar face at WYSE Travel Confederation-hosted events. Having also worked for WYSE Travel Confederation from 2008 to 2010, she has watched the rapid evolution of who’s who and what’s what in youth travel since the explosion of online travel and social media. Wendy is particularly interested in young consumers as trendsetters, travel technology, music tourism, and innovative culinary experiences for travellers. She is also fond of student travel’s history, having spent many hours sifting through the archives of WYSE Travel Confederation’s fascinating past. Prior to moving to the Netherlands in late 2007, Wendy lived, studied, and worked in New York City. She is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and the New School for Social Research.
