Terror attacks have affected several popular tourism destinations around the world and the unfortunate assumption is that we’ll continue to see such attacks in the coming years. This session will focus on sharing best practice related to the development and implementation of emergency response procedures for local tour operators and accommodation providers.

Biography:

Gal Mor is Director of Sales, Marketing and Business Development, at Abraham Hostels and Tours.
After completing a role as Regional Manager in Israel for Sandeman’s New Europe in 2009, Gal proceeded to fulfill his dream and co-founded his own tour company and hostel group; Abraham Hostels and Tours.
Today Abraham Hostels includes three award winning locations in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Nazareth.  Abraham Tours is currently the leading FIT tour operator in Israel and runs engaging daily, multi day and package tours, across Israel, Jordan and the Palestinian Territories.
Gal resides in a Kibbutz near Jerusalem and enjoys exploring nature with his wife and three young boys.

Claudia joined Dr. Walter GmbH in 2008. As Director International Sales she now consults exchange organisations, academic institutions and NGOs and provides customized insurance solutions for international youth and student exchange. Following her studies of business administration she was responsible for the international campus recruitment at a German Bank. This first lead her to working with international organizations and universities. She has been in this field for over 18 years now and has a true passion for her work. Claudia loves the idea of supporting young adults in becoming global citizens.

Stephanie spent six years working as a public relations advisor for major television networks in her native New Zealand before moving to Berlin in 2009. After developing a passion for tourism and the tourism industry through working as a guide, in 2014 Stephanie combined her knowledge and passion for travel, tourism, mass communication and strategic partnership development to become SANDEMANs Partner Relations and Communications Director. Today, SANDEMANs has a symbiotic relationship with over 1,000 accommodation and service providers.
