Nick helped build World Nomads, spending seven years in the Sydney office before relocating back to the UK in 2008 to further develop our strategic Northern Hemisphere relationships.

Nick has worked closely and built relationships with all capital providers in all territories, working through complex regulatory positions to bring partnerships and products to life.

Nick has been a driving force in global account acquisition and management of all the major partnerships for World Nomads since inception. He has 20 years of service and commitment with World Nomads and is well known in the adventure, youth and independent travel insurance markets, serving as WYSE Travel Confederation’s Travel Safety sector panel Chairperson and on the WYSE Travel Confederation Management Board. Nick has spoken at multiple conferences over the years.

Claudia is the Head of International Programs at DR-WALTER Insurance Brokers. With two decades of experience specialising in insurance for international educational exchange programs Claudia advises organisations, au pair agencies, academic institutions and NGOs on need-based insurance solutions for international youth and student mobility.

Claudia’s major field of study is Human Resources. Working in international campus recruitment and developing the internship program for a US J1 sponsor triggered Claudia’s passion for supporting young students in becoming global citizens.

Claudia serves as a representative on WYSE Travel Confederation’s Travel Safety sector panel. She has spoken at about safety and insurance issues at industry events, including the World Youth and Student Travel Conference (WYSTC).

Business Development Manager

CareMed International Insurance

Having been abroad as a high school student, Anna joined the CareMed team in 2014 as a Trainee in International Management. In her current position as Business Development Manager, she supports agencies and international organisations worldwide to offer insurance protection and making sure their participants and travellers are well cared for in case of emergency.

It is her aim to find suitable insurance solutions that are comprehensive, meet the requirements of visas, authorities and universities, and affordable for young travellers in the field of educational travel.

Senior Account Executive

Cultural Insurance Services International (CISI)

Ted joined Cultural Insurance Services International (CISI) in 2007 as a Business Development Consultant and quickly transitioned into the role as an Account Executive. In 2016 he was promoted to Senior Account Executive and now maintains well over 100 international accounts and manages client needs daily. Ted is also heavily involved with the marketing and IT teams to help promote new ideas and resources on how to better assist clients and prospects. He is also on the Health and Safety Committee for Cultural Insurance Services International.

Ted is fluent in Italian and conversational in Spanish. He lived in Italy for two years where he received a Certificate of Linguistic Studies. Ted graduated from Iona College with a BBA in International Business. Not many can say this, but Ted loves his job. As Confucius once said, “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life”.

Ed is the VP Sales for Global Secutive in Princeton, NJ. He has over 25 years of health insurance experience, focusing primarily on medical, pharmacy, international and supplemental insurance programs. Ed joined Global Secutive in 2017 and shares the same passion and enthusiasm for the international cultural exchange world as the rest of the community. In this role Ed works with clients to provide affordable comprehensive insurance programmes for participants of cultural exchange programmes that are compliant with US J, F, M, Q, OPT and H2B visa requirements, as well as with US citizens on outbound programmes.

Prior to joining Global Secutive, Ed served as a pharmacy benefits consultant and regional practice leader for several major HR consulting firms. He began his career conducting employer PBM analyses for a major health care insurer. Some of his many clients have included JP Morgan Chase, Pfizer, GlaxoSmithKline, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Liberty Mutual, FedEx Corporation, IBM, Amerada Hess, Becton Dickinson, Michelin and Energizer.
Ed earned a Master’s degree in Health Care Management and Policy from The George Washington University and holds a BA from Rutgers University.
