Language travel and social media
Speaker:

We all know that social media is fully integrated with daily life for most young people; it not only shapes how they travel, but the ways that they gather information and prepare for travel. Learning a language abroad has to do with real-life immersion, so are photostreams, reviews, ratings, and smartphone booking apps having an impact on language study travel?
During this session we will take a look at some specific social media trends and explore what these mean for the future of language travel. We will also offer tips on how to best utilise social media tools to engage young language-learning travellers.
