Travellers meet locals: How to create an open-minded hospitality space

Fabio Coppola, Co-Founder, YELLOWSQUARE

Thursday, 5 March 12:00 – 12:30
Hall 4.1, Stand 117 (WYSE Workshop area)

Session description

In a period where young travellers are avoiding tourist hot spots, the challenge for tourism businesses focussed on the youth market is to create a brand or product experience that doesn’t give off a typical tourist impression. For hostels, activities and spaces that encourage connections between different people, whether travellers or locals, create occasions and an atmosphere that encourage everyone to unhinge cultural barriers and to embrace diversity. During this session, Fabio Coppola, founder of YELLOWSQUARE, will discuss how to develop socially inclusive spaces that meet the interests and expectations of young travellers.
