Marc Hofmann is CEO of CheckMyBus, the leading international meta-search engine for intercity- and airport buses. When the German coach market was liberalised in 2013, Marc created a first news blog and comparison site for buses in Germany. Now CheckMyBus offers millions of daily bus departures in more than 90 countries for a global audience.
Before becoming active in digital business as founder and Managing Director of several price comparison sites in 2012, Marc worked in international management positions at Siemens Audiology, now WSA, for more than seven years. He studied Business Administration in Nuremberg and Strasbourg then started his career at The Nielsen Company. Marc is a frequent speaker on innovation in travel, mobility and the bus market. Bus and combined mobility in general are key to solving environmental crises and congestion. Following this believe Marc is actively working to facilitate growth and digitisation of the bus market.
