Notification of a General Meeting of the members of WYSE Travel Confederation

Dear industry colleague,

Please be advised that there will be a General Meeting of WYSE Travel Confederation Members at the site of this year’s WETM-IAC Conference in Luxembourg.

The purpose of this meeting is to ratify a change to the WYSE Travel Confederation Rules and Regulations surrounding the recruitment and selection of the Management Board and Industry Panel members through the introduction of a Nominations Committee system, with an election process.

In addition, as Jason Merrithew is stepping down from the Board Chairman position after being involved in the Management Board for the last four years, there will also be the ratification of a new Management Board Chairman, Mr. Russ Hedge who is the CEO of Hosteling International, USA.

If your organisation holds a voting membership and you are not able to attend the General Meeting you can still take part by assigning your vote to another member as a proxy. In this way, your vote will be heard and will be part of the legal process of making this change.
