The Presidential Filipinnovation Awards are national innovation awards established by the Office of the President of the Philippines. The National Innovation Council (NIC) recognised the country’s most outstanding innovators on 6 November 2025 at the Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria in Quezon City. The ceremony, organised by the Department of Economy, Planning, and Development (DEPDev) through the NIC, honoured Filipino individuals and enterprises that have successfully transformed ideas into impactful solutions for national development.
Out of the 181 entries, Ediphi was recognised as one of the five exceptional innovators.
Each awardee received a Presidential Medallion, Plaque, and Trophy, along with a cash grant and post-competition support package amounting to a combined value of PHP3.5 million. The package includes mentoring and coaching, participation in international events such as trade fairs and business-to-business matching activities, and opportunities to connect with potential investors to further advance their innovations. Executive Secretary Lucas P. Bersamin personally conferred the awards
DEPDev Secretary Arsenio M. Balisacan commended the winners and finalists for showcasing the limitless potential of Filipino ingenuity. “The work of our Filipinnovators demonstrates how creativity, expertise, and community insight can come together to build solutions that anticipate market needs while uplifting society. They show us what a thriving Philippine innovation ecosystem looks like—dynamic, purposeful, and future-oriented,” he said.
“Our recognition highlights Ediphi’s work in developing AI- and VR-powered learning technology, including our SMART Classroom with immersive workplace simulations, our AI-powered interview training platform, and our NOVA PMS Training tool. These technologies enhance student readiness and global mobility for programs such as the J-1 Internship/Trainee, Summer Work & Travel, Camp Counselor, and other international study and training pathways,” Cristina Carl, CEO of Ediphi.
Institutionalized under Executive Order No. 99, s. 2025, the Presidential Filipinnovation Awards is the country’s highest recognition for outstanding innovation. Through this initiative, the government continues to promote a culture of innovation that connects ideas with opportunity and empowers Filipino innovators in scaling solutions for national impact.
