CAS Trips is proud to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of its flagship Global Student Exchange (GSE) program, marking a decade of connecting young people from around the world through meaningful travel, intercultural collaboration, and real-world learning.
Since its inception in 2016 with the very first Prague Spring exchange, the GSE’s have become the signature program of CAS Trips’ mission to foster global citizenship. Over the past decade, thousands of schools from more than 45 countries have taken part in exchanges designed to break down cultural barriers, build lifelong friendships, and equip young people with the skills to thrive in an interconnected world.
“Over the past decade, we’ve seen students step outside their comfort zones, embrace unfamiliar cultures, and return home not only with lifelong friendships but with the mindset and skills of true global citizens. From the very first Prague Spring in 2016, students and local partners have connected across borders, learned from one another, and have taken responsibility for our shared future. It’s the annual reminder that the world is richer when we learn and grow together,” says GSE Program Director, Sarah Paschke.
The GSE model is built on three pillars:
- Intercultural Collaboration – Bringing together students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Hands-On Experiential Learning – Tackling authetic community needs through ethial, sustainable projects.
- Leadership & Lifelong Skills – Building characterm developing communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities for the future.
In 2026, CAS Trips will continue the GSE legacy with three extraordinary programs:
