To add to this above, what inspired the creation of D3x, and how do you envision it changing the hospitality industry?
Technology often moves forward in waves. When ChatGPT became the fastest company to sign up 100 million users, it marked the beginning of a new technological age. In technical terms, large language models (LLMs) enabled the conversion of human messages (English, etc.) into computer instructions (APIs). This breakthrough technology enabled us to start D3x with the goal of helping our partners provide exceptional customer service.
What specific hospitality challenges does D3x address that current solutions may overlook? 
Most current tools require human operation, providing features and reports that assist staff in being more efficient. D3x, however, uses an AI filter to handle simple requests automatically, insulating the service team from routine inquiries. Complex queries are routed to professionals. This ensures customers receive instant responses while the service team can focus on higher-value tasks instead of repetitive, mundane requests.
Can D3x be customised for the specific needs of individual hotels or chains?
Absolutely. Although the same AI engine is used across businesses, automation is tailored through a combination of AI technology, business rules, and data. By defining specific business rules and uploading tailored knowledge, a unique approach to hospitality emerges, drastically different for each business.
What key metrics does D3x use to measure its impact on hospitality businesses and guest satisfaction?
The primary metric is the automation percentage, which reflects the proportion of total messages handled by AI. Generally, there are two types of data pipelines: static and dynamic. As we integrate the AI with more systems, the automation rate can reach up to 85%. This creates significant efficiencies, allowing resources to be redirected to other business priorities.
Are there any new updates or announcements you’d like to share?
We recently enabled our AI agent to handle phone calls, reusing a single knowledge base for all channels—WhatsApp, website chat, Facebook, SMS, and more. The response is quick, multilingual, and designed to escalate to a human when necessary.
