OCE – Organization of Cultural Experience is a travel agency established in 2020 connecting young Paraguayans to the world through study and work experiences.

Can you elaborate a little more on who you are and how OCE started?

I [Oscar Cohene] am a founding partner of OCE S.A., a company created to offer young Paraguayans the chance to study and work abroad. OCE started with the mission to connect students with international opportunities that promote both personal and professional growth. From the beginning, we have focused on delivering high-quality cultural exchange programmes. Our goal is to help young people fully benefit from these experiences, gaining skills and perspectives that will enable them to contribute to the development of their community and country when they return.

What is the most rewarding part of sending students abroad to participate in Summer Work Travel programs?

What excites me most is seeing students grow personally and professionally through these international experiences. The Summer Work Travel program allows them to immerse in new cultures, develop language skills, and gain global work experience. It’s incredibly rewarding to watch them build confidence, make lifelong connections, and return home with a broader perspective.

Could you describe the range of international programmes you offer? Do you focus on specific countries or types of experiences (e.g., academic, cultural, volunteer)?

We offer a variety of international programmes across continents, focusing on countries like Spain, Ireland, the UK, Australia, and soon, Asia. While work abroad programmes are our speciality, we also provide language-learning programmes, which are increasingly popular among Paraguayans.

Our programmes range from cultural immersion and professional development to language acquisition, ensuring that each experience is customised to the participant’s goals. We aim to offer diverse opportunities that help young people expand their horizons, both personally and professionally.
