Suncana Vura was founded in 1996 and specialises in educational and cultural exchange programmes, such as Work and Travel USA, Work and Travel EU, Au Pair in America, Au Pair in Europe, TESOL in Vietnam and Cambodia as well as language courses worldwide.

1. To add to this above, can you elaborate a little more on who you are and how Suncana Vura d.o.o.  started ?

Suncana Vura is a travel agency that specialises in selling all kinds of flight tickets, corporate tourism, and cultural exchange programmes.

Sunčana Vura started as a Uspinjaca employment agency that was founded in 1989 as the first agency of its kind in Croatia and former Yugoslavia. Uspinjaca was hiring domestic help and started with the Au Pair in England programme. From there it expanded onto cruise ship personnel recruitment, au pair in Italy, Germany, and the USA.

Since the au pair programme belongs to cultural exchange and not employment, we founded the travel agency Suncana Vura, thus dividing employment from cultural programmes and remaining sister agencies until 2020.

Our cultural exchange programmes department gradually introduced Work and Travel USA and internships, as well as various educational courses such as TESOL courses in Vietnam and Cambodia, language courses abroad, West End Stage Summer School, and similar.
