Expert insights and Heineken on tap at ITB Berlin in the Youth Travel Hall (4.1)
WYSE News | March 2, 2018

During ITB Berlin 2018, travel professionals will have the opportunity to learn from some of youth and student travel’s experts and thought-leaders. WYSE Travel Confederation has a jam-packed educational programme, with sessions being held every hour, on the hour Wednesday through Friday at the WYSE Workshop area, sponsored by World Nomads.

The workshops offer visitors a chance to take a seat and listen to industry peers discuss best practice in market and product development, travel tech, distribution, and marketing strategy all with the youth traveller and your business in mind. SnapShot co-founder David Turnbull will talk about how hostels can utilise their data to develop better guest experiences. On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Stephanie Taylor-Carrillo of SANDEMANs NEW Europe Tours will provide you with three ways to support women in and through tourism. Cat Hai Chiem of Eurail.com will discuss practical steps you can take to get your business ready for the Chinese market.

Thursday on the Main Stage in Hall 4.1, WYSE Travel Confederation Director General David Chapman will moderate a panel discussion with representatives of Eurail.com, Freehand Hotels, Fáilte Ireland, StudentUniverse, and G Adventures on the latest insights from the New Horizons IV Survey of more than 57,000 youth travellers worldwide. Don’t miss this session on Thursday, 8 March from 12:00-13:00.

Your Thursday at ITB Berlin would not be complete without the WYSE Networking Reception, so plan to connect with industry colleagues over a Heineken on tap courtesy of Hans Brinker. All you need to do is RSVP.
