The Commission for the Promotion of Peru for export and tourism – PromPeru is a specialised technical agency, responsible for the promotion of Peru in exports, tourism and image. Under the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism, PromPeru has functional, technical, economic, financial, budgetary and administrative autonomy.
It can approve, implement and evaluate strategies and plans for the promotion of exportable goods and services, as well as inbound tourism, promoting and disseminating the image of Peru in the exports and tourist areas, in accordance with the policies, sectoral strategies and objectives.
