It is with regret that we announce the passing of Tina Schwelein, who served as a Board member of WYSE Travel Confederation sector association International Association of Student Insurance Services (IASIS) for many years.
Tina was involved with the youth travel industry for over 40 years.
IASIS Chairman Ashraf Wali said: “Tina was a very kind-hearted woman who always gave her utmost in a generous and selfless manner for the good of others, be it in her private life, or at RDS, IASIS, ISIC and ISTC.”
” To everyone at IASIS, Tina was a loyal Board member who helped the Association grow sustainably throughout the long years of her dedicated service, and it is with deep sadness that we learn of her passing. Tina helped build the community with her foresight and unwavering commitment to the youth and student travel community.”
WYSE Travel Confederation Director General David Chapman said; “Everyone at WYSE Travel Confederation is very sad to hear of the loss of Tina. She made an important contribution to IASIS and we send our sincere condolences to Tina’s family and friends .”
