Surf Camp Australia

WYSE Travel Confederation is pleased to welcome Surf Camp Australia as its latest member.

Founded in 1999 as the first ‘surf camp’ in Australia, and with a base just two hours from Sydney, Surf Camp Australia offers a choice of multi-day progressive surf courses designed with the beginner surfer in mind. With six full-time staff members and thirty part-time staff, the surf camp runs seven days a week from September to May.

The organisation focuses on quality and attention to detail in all areas of its camps. Through a long-standing partnership with RipCurl, Surf Camp Australia provides RipCurl wetsuits and boards custom-made for beginner surfers.

Surf Camp Australia’s main camp can be found on Seven Mile Beach National Park, on the south coast of New South Wales. This location not only offers a consistent supply of small to medium sized waves, but its location in the national park offers a wealth of wildlife spotting opportunities as the national park is home to honeyeaters, rosellas, kookaburras, kangaroos, echidnas and dolphins. Surf Camp Australia also offers surfing opportunities at another two beaches in New South Wales: Yamba and Byron Bay.

Never exceeding eight students per one instructor, the Surf Camp Australia package includes accommodation and free surf action photography.
