CETT, international training and research centre of tourism and hotel management, attached to the University of Barcelona, is organising with the International Tourism Fair of Catalonia (SITC) the 30th Edition of the Alimara Awards for the promotion of tourism.
In order to celebrate this Anniversary, they are preparing different special activities such as a conference on ‘The Promotion of Tourism’ that will be held on 2 April, 2014. In that context, new strategies, tools and the most innovating channels to carry out a successful tourist promotion will be analysed.
The Alimara Awards will be announced during an official ceremony ‘The Alimara Night’ which will take place at the Barcelona Alimara Hotel on Thursday, 3 April, 2014.
Any entity of the tourist sector or related which did a tourist promotion campaign in 2013 can take part in the Alimara Awards.
There are different categories of Awards:
- The Alimara Destination Awards
- The Alimara Business Awards
- The Alimara CAT
- Student’s Alimara Award
- Alimara Mass Media Award
- CETT’s Special Alimara Award
The organisations wishing to participate in the Alimara Awards can do so before 14 February, 2014 by completing and sending the participation form which can be found online at www.cett.es/premiosalimara.
